LAWN TENNIS
NORTH ISLAND TOURNEY POSTPONED (P.A.) WAIPAWA. Jan. 14. The North Island, Hawke's Bay, and Waipawa tennis championships, scheduled to begin at Waipawa this morning, were postponed because of rain until to-mor-row. Record entries from all parts of New Zealand have been received for the tournament. Which will finish at the weekend. Many competitors in the Dominion championships will take part.
