CRICHTON COBBERS 9 CLUB

Fifty-five boys of the Christchurch Crichton Cobbers’ Club returned during the week-end from the annual summer camp at the club's permanent site at Annat. Generous help was given by people of the district, who w ire invited to sports and camp concerts. An annual match with the Springfield Cricket Club was inaugurated. Mr Noel McCracken was in charge of the camp and the director of the club (Mr J. Bruorton) also attended. The Crichton Cobber’s Club Band, which was second in the Dominion C grade championship in Christchurch last year, will compete in the New Zealand brass bands’ contest at Wanganui,
