DR. A. E. PORRITT
BRIEF VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND (P.A.) AUCKLAND, November 12. Returning to the Dominion after an absence of 23 years, Dr. A. E. Porritt, a King’s surgeon and 1924 Olympic Games representative, arrived on the Pan American Clipper East Indian. Dr. Porritt said the Royal Family had borne the strain of the war years remarkably well, and were all enjoying good health. Although they hoped to have some recreation in their South African tour, it was not undertaken for holiday reasons.
Dr. Porritt will spend a fortnight in New Zealand before returning to England. Dr. Porritt will visit his brother, at Putekehua, near Kaikohe, for a few days before going to Wanganui to stay with his farther. Dr. E. E. Porritt.
