HUNTSBURY RESIDENTS

ASSOCIATION’S SUCCESSFUL YEAR

One of the principal results of the association’s activities during the year was the inauguration of a bus service for residents of the district, stated the report presented at the annual meeting of the Huntsbury Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association. “The service, while still somewhat restricted, can be regarded as an excellent beginning, and has been a definite factor in the very much accelerated building activity on the hill,” the report added. It was stated that the main object of the association this year would be the establishment of scenic reserves on Huntsbury Hill. Officers were elected as follows: chairman, Mr F Stock; secretary, Mr F. N. Jones; treasurer, Mr F. Loughlan; committee, Mesdames Taylor and Arnold, and Messrs Baynon, Collingwood, Dash, McKenzie, and Wilsoji.
