FOREIGN ENTRIES IN CLASSIC RACES (N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) LONDON. October 31. English horses next year will be eligible to participate in most of the French classics, including the French Derby (Prix du Jockey Club), French Oaks (Prix de Diane), French St. Leger (Prix Royal Oaks), and the French Guineas. The Paris correspondent of "The Times states that it has often been asked why English horses are barred from all French classics except the Grand Prix de Paris.
