Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (November 4th-7th inclusive) buses will leave Midland Bus Station on All-Day Excursions through the rich farm lands of North Canterbury to the famous Ashley Gorge, on to Oxford for luncheon, then to the Waimakariri Gorge and via the Klondyke road back to Christchurch. The fare for this 100-mile journey is only 10/-. Tickets must be bought in advance from the Ticket Office, Midland Bus Station. LAKE COLERIDGE: On Friday, Nov. Bth, and Saturday, Nov. 9th, the Lake Coleridge Bus will run to the Lake Intake. Make this interesting trip across Canterbury for only £1 return.
