LARGE AUDIENCE AT LEVIN
ADDRESS BY LEADER OF OPPOSITION (P.A.) LEVIN, November 1., The Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland) was given a rousing reception when he visited Levin this afternoon and addressed an enthusiastic meeting of about 1200. The theatre was oacked and an overflow, in the street listened to the speech through loudspeakers. Mr Holland reviewed his policy, concentrating on the need for an encouragement of primary industry and the building up of the Dominion’s export trade with Britain. There were no interjections and Mr Holland was frequently applauded. At the conclusion votes of confidence in Mr Holland and in the National Party candidate for Otaki (Mr J. J. Maher) were passed.
MR HOLLAND AT FEILDING
(P.A.) PALMERSTON N.. Nov. 1. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland) addressed electors at Feilding this morning. There was a large attendance, and Mr Holland was '{iven an enthusiastic welcome. The Mayor (Mr T. L. Seddon) presided, and after the address Mr Holland was accorded a-vote of thanks.
