Several pounds were stolen from a collection box for the Cholmondeley Memorial Children’s Home by a thief who forced entry to the pharmacy of Mr S. L. Hall on the corner of Worcester street and Stanmore road during the , week-end. About £6 was taken in cash from the till. The office of the Crystal Mirror and Glass Company, Ltd., 283 Tuam street, was ransacked by a thief during the week-end. About £2 in cash was stolen, and office papers and books were screwed together and torn up.
