—When one of the riredpp
the door chains on the dredge Mawhera was carried away during tipping operations at Greymouth last week, the dredge was unable to continue further dredging operations at the berthages until the services of a diver were secured from Christchurch. The diver arrived yesterday and with-! in a little more than an hour hadi effected the necessary repairs, replac- i ing the shackle on the door, which was: holding up operations. ‘
