J a P an ese plot to assassinate Mr Stalin, according to the latest United States Government document in the series “Nazi Conspiracy and AgSression." Himmler conferred with shima on January 31, 1939. regarding long-range Japanese-German espionage projects, aimed at Russia’s disintegration so as to help in the event- of war. Himmler reported that Oshima told him he had succeeded in sending 10 Russians ?rmed with bombs across the frontier to kill Mr Stalin. Several other Russians sent across the frontier had been shot
