JUGOSLAV FRONTIER CLASHES
GREEKS REPORT END OF OPERATIONS (Rec. 7 p.m.) ATHENS, Sept. 22.’ A Greek 3rd Army communique says that operations against armed bands’ in the Mount Beles area, near the Jugoslav frontier, ended when the bands fled across the frontier. The communique adds that certain of the figures published have been Exaggerated. It is also untrue, it says, that the Jugoslav frontier authorities fired on Greek troops.
