We solicit donations to enable us to purchase, wisely, further substantial quantities of food for shipment to England, and invite you to forward such donations to the Hon. Special Buses will leave the Midland Bus Station, Lichfield street, at 8.30 a.m. A limited number of tickets at 10/- each are now available from the Ticket Office, Midland Bus Station, 31 Lichfield street. Christchurch-Kaiapoi: 12 ride 7/6 weekly ticket is abolished, and a 10 ride 7/weekly ticket is substituted. Christchurch-Waikuku Beach: a new 10ride 11/6 weekly concession ticket is provided. Copies of the new Booklet of fare schedules and time-tables will be posted to householders on Midland Bus routes within the next two weeks. T.C. MIDLAND BUS. NEW TIME-TABLE. Many improvements, including increased services to and from Amberley, Rangiora, Woodend, Waikuku, Kaiapoi, Belfast, Northcote, Airport, Harewood road. Copies of the alterations are obtainable from the Bus Station in Lichfield street. Special attention is drawn to the following alterations:— KAIAPOI SERVICE. MONDAY TO FRIDAY: Previous 1.40 p.m. trip Kaiapoi-Christchurch now leaves at 1.45 p.m. Extra trips leave Kaiapoi at 2.20 p.m. and 9 p.m. MONDAY to THURSDAY: The previous 10.50 p.m. bus, Kaiapoi-Christchurch, leaves Kaiapoi at 10.20 p.m. SUNDAY: An extra trip now Kaiapoi at 9.15 p.m. HAREWOOD ROAD SERVICE. WEDNESDAY: The previous 1.15 p.m. bus from Christchurch leaves at 1 p.m. WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY: An extra trip leaves Christchurch at 3.45 p.m. (This will be a block trip.) AIRPORT SERVICE. An extra bus leaves Christchurch at 4.55 p.ml The previous 5.10 p.m. bus now leaves at 5.15 p.m. AMBERLEY-RANGIORA-CHRIST-CHURCH. A new service now leaves as follows: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: Leaves Amberley 7.05 a.m., travelling via Balcairn and Sefton to Rangiora (7.50 a.m.) and via Woodend to Christchurch (arr. 8.50 a.m.). Return trip now operates at 4.25 p.m. and Rangiora at 5.25 p.m. This service provides transport for workers who travel daily between Amberley and Rangiora. AMBERLEY SERVICE. SUNDAY: The present Sunday Timetable is CANCELLED and the following Time-table will operate as from Sunday. September 29, 1946:—Leave Amberley for Christchurch, 9.30 a.m.; leave Christchurch for Amberley, 11.05 a.m.; leave Amberley for Christchurch, 6.30 p.m.; leave Christchurch for Amberley. 8.05 p.m. All these trips run via Sefton and Balcairn. The present 5.10 p.m. to Sefton will still run. RANGIORA SERVICE. A new extended Rangiora Service is now in operation. Copies are available from the Bus Station. NEW TIME-TABLE BOOKLETS.
