YESTERDAY’S MATCHES Play in the 1946 New Zealand amateur snooker championship was* continued yesterday at the Radiant Hall. The attendance in the afternoon was good; but because of the weather the attendance at night was poor. Results:— J. Munro (Canterbury) beat R. Nixon (Auckland) by 3 games to 1. Scores: Munro 27, 71, 63, 62; Nixon 66, 61, 62, 6. F. Anson (Canterbury) beat W. Smith (Canterbury) by 3 games to 1. Scores: Anson 49. 9. 66. 55. Smith 36, 63, 22, 43. R. Whitford (Canterbury) beat L. Blackaby (Wellington) by 3 games to 2. Scores: Whitford 29, 63. 64. 36. 61; Blackaby. 42. 27. 42. 71, 54. A. Billens (Canterbury) beat J. Bradley (Auckland) by 3 games to 2. Scores: Billens 33. 19. 54. 73. 42: Bradley 49. 62. 46. 65. 28 The games to-day are as follows:—W. McCowatt (Auckland) v. F. Anson (Canterbury);. A.
