STRIKES IN JAPAN
DISPUTE WITH LANDOWNERS (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) TOKYO, Sept 15. The All-Japan Agricultural Union has sent out notices calling on 330,000 farm-hands to strike as a result of a failure to .reach agreement about collective bargaining rights and wage im creases with the All-Japan Agricula tural Association, representing land! owners. About 600,000 coal, steel, and smaller industry workers will stage a 24-houl strike to-morrow. Shipping is already tied up by th* seamen's strike.
