NEW PROPOSALS BY BRITAIN
FURTHER DISCUSSIONS EXPECTED
(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 14. Informed sources, according to the Cairo correspondent of the Associated Press, utate that the British Government has submitted to the Prime Minister (Sidky Pasha) new proposals for the revision of the 1936 British-Egypt-ia“ Treaty. . Sidky Pasha will confer with the leader of the British delegation (Lorq Stansgate) to-morrow. The Egyptian delegation will meet after the conference
The Deputy Prime Minister (Loutfi Pasha) said earlier that he expected the treaty negotiations to end this month. No new British Note had been received, but a new Egyptian Note on the Sudan had been drafted maintaining Egypt’s demand for unity under the Egyptian Crown.
