WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FEDERATED FARMERS
Belfast.—Seven new members were welcomed at the monthly meeting of the division. Final arrangements were made for the thirteenth birthday to be held on August 22. A collection from members for relatives’ parcels for dispatch to England amounted to £l. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames R. Halligan, A. Jones, and Hibbard- Competitions resulted: large bloom: Mrs Salt arid Miss Crawford (equol) 1, Mrs Taylor 2. Small bloom: Mrs Forrest and Mrs Taylor (equal) J, Mrs Jones 2. Most original bowl of flowers: Mrs Smith 1, Miss Crawford 2, Prettiest tea cosy: Mrs Smith J, Mrs Rudkin 2. Chocolates: Mrs g. Wilson 1.
