SALE OF FARM PROPERTY

APPROVAL GIVEN BY SUPREME COURT

Power to sell a farm property at West Melton was sought by the trustee of the estate of Albert Ernest Langdale-Hunt, Wilfred Melton Langdale-Hunt (Mr B. J. Drake), in the Supreme Court before Mr Justice Fair yesterday. The petitioner was sole trustee of the estate and one of eight beneficiaries under the will of his father, said Mr Drake The estate was valued at about £20,000, the principal items being three farms which were all subject to mortgage. The farms were at Sumner, West Melton, and the Chatham Islands. x

Mr T. A. Gresson, .who appeared for six of the beneficiaries, said his clients were in favour of the sale, and thought it should take place as soon as possible. His Honour gave the petitioner power to effect the sale and fixed the terms on which the sale should be made.
