New Brighton R.S.A.—Officers elected at the annual meeting of the New Brighton Returned. Services’ Association recently were as follows:—president, Mr T. Newman; vice-president, Mr A. A. Hood; secretary, Mr A. Burgess; assistant-secretary, Mr R. G. Campbell; treasurer, Mr E. H. Rogers; committee, Messrs H. Eades, R. Comfort, T. W. Deverson, F. Rouse, and W. H. R. Hecker. It was decided tp build a new social hall behind the present club premises as soon as possible. The resignation of Mr L. F. Ebert as secretary after six and a half years’ service was received with regret
