AS3I6TANT NURSING ADVISBJi APPOINTEP New Zealana Society for the Health qf Wemwi and (the Plunket Society) Has appointed Miss Jean Gonstanep Wotq the position of assistant nursing adviser,- which becapie vacant on the resignation of Miss G. Thomson in December last. Miss Woodhead received her general training at t|(e Dunedin Hospital, her maternity training at fte Alexandra Home, Wellington, and her Plunket traiping in the society's Dominion training centre at Dunfedin. She was successively sister at the Invercargin and Dungdjn Karjifine KMHfofo and after taking a post-graduate course in 1937 ahe became tutor sister at the Truby King Harris Karitane Hospital, punedin. JTor the Ipst fiye years Miss Woqdhead has been matron pf the {Sir Truby and Lady King Karitane Hospital, Wellington. She wijl take up her new appointment shortly, and her headquarters will be in Dunedin.
