BEATON—On May 6. 1946. at the Christchurch Hospital, John Sterritt Beaten, eldest son of the late John and Elizabeth Beaton. (Late of Addington.) ISBISTER—At Oamaru, after a lingering illness, John AVilliam, beloved husband of Margaret Isbister, 66 Orwell street, and father of James and the late Sergeant J. W. Isbister. SHERLOCK—On May 6, 1946, at his residence, 4 Fielding street, Addington, Percival Charles, dearly loved husbahd of Edith Sherlock, and loved father of Wilfred and Mrs Gwenn Johnston; aged 70 years. (Messages to 63 Caledonian road, St. Albans.) THOMSON—On May 4. at 43 Bombay, street, Ngaio, Wellington, Mary Elizabeth (Betty), dearly loved wife of H. Ralph Thomson (formerly of St. Martins). (Result of accident.)
