EGYPT’S DELEGATION APPOINTED PREMIER REITERATES DEMANDS (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, March 8. King Farouk has appointed a 12man delegation, headed by the Egyptian Prime Minister (Sidky Basha) to negotiate with Britain for revision of the 1936 British-Egyptian Treaty "so as to achieve Egypt’s national rights,” says the Cairo correspondent of the Associated Press. Other members of the delegation are Nokrashy Pasha, whom Sidky Pasha succeeded as Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister (Sayed Pasha), and the King’s uncle, Sabri Pasha. In submitting names for the King’s approval, Sidky Pasha said that all classes of Egyptians unanimously approved of the Government’s demands for the evacuation of foreign troops and the union of Egypt and the Sudan. Reuter’s Cairo correspondent says that the delegation consists of representatives of all parties except the Wafd, in the following proportions:— non-party members eight, including Sidky Pasha; Kota Party, one; Saadist Party, two: Liberal Constitutional Party, one.
