(Rec. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. The Prime Minister of. Ethiopia (Bitwodded Makonnen Endalkatchew) in a letter to “The Times” claims the return to Ethiopia of Eritrea and Italian Somaliland. He says that Ethiopia for more than 50 years has been deprived of “the oldest province of the empire and access to the sea by the theft of Eritrea and Italian Somaliland.” Expressing his confidence that the people of the British Commonwealth will “assert their leadership” to assure the return of these territories. Endalk&tchew asks: “If justice canhot be had by Ethiopia, the first victim of European aggression, what hope can other small nations have that justice will be the foundation of international relations and maintenance of peace?”
