EGYPTIAN STUDENTS’ DEMONSTRATIONS
(Rec. 7 p.m.) CAIRO, March 2, The Egyptian Public Prosecutor called a press conference and has informed the Egyptian press that it must not publish news on the students’ demonstrations on penalty of imprisonment for six to 12 months.
In Alexandria students burned English textbooks in the university’s courtyard and elsewhere, and ordered shopkeepers to remove British posters of King George and Mr Chdrchill.
