4 VICEREGAL (PA.) AUCKLAND, February 12. The Governor-General, attended by I Major H. A. Jaffray. this morning opened the British Medical AssociaI tfon’s conference in the University Hall. Later, at Government House, his Excellency handed to the next-of-kin decorations awarded to deceased service personnel. Commander C. J. Pitts, R.N., has arrived at Government House. The Hon. J. O'Brien. Minister of Transport, arrived from the West Coast last evening, leaving later for Wellington.
