MEDICAL EDUCATION IN N.Z.
REVIEW BY UNIVERSITY SENATE
The Senate of the University of New Zealand parsed the following resolution at its recent meeting:— “That the Senate set up a committee to review the whole question of medical education in New Zealand, including the post-graduate course and un-der-graduate teaching in obstetrics and gynaecology, and to report to the Senate.”
The following committee was appointed to consider and report:—the Chancellor (Sir Hugh Acland), Mr W. H. Cocker. Professor C. E. Hercus, the Very Rev. D. C. Herron. Messrs A. H. Johnstone, J. H. E. Schroder, and T. D. M. Stout. The convener of the committee is Sir Thomas Hunter (vicechancellor) .
