HANDICAP WON BY RACKET (PA) BLENHEIM, February 11. The Marlborough Racing Club’s summer meeting concluded to-day in fine before a good attendance. The track hlrd and fast. A sensational accident oSurred in the Hillersden Trot in wMch the leader, Maryland, collapsed and died, and in falling brought down Ben Doo and Stammel. The latter subsequently completed the course for third money. The totalisator handled £9727, compared with £6264 10s on the second day of the last two-day meeting in 1941. The total for the meeting was £22,123, compared witii £13,771 10s in 1941, an increase of £8351 10 SECOND 8 PROVINCIAL RACE, of £7O; six furlongs.—3 FIRE CHASE 0-7 P.
