INDIAN REVOLT THREAT
Warning Given By Nehru (Rec. 11 p.m.) CAWNPORE, Feb. 11. Commenting on the threat of a famine, Pandit Jawaharal Nehru, in a speech, said the people would not die like flies, submitting calmly to death. If there were famine in the United Provinces he would ask the people to revolt against the Government. Let the Government be prepared to fade that, Reuter’s correspondent says that citizens of Cawnpore demonstrated to-day against a 50 per cent, reduction in their wheat ration. There were street processions, and in the evening 100,000 attended a protest meeting.
