FIRE DAMAGES ROOF

Slight damage to the roof and a wall was caused by a fire which broke out yesterday afternoon in a house occupied by Mr R. Anderson, 26 Phillip street. The Christchurch Fire Brigade was called to the outbreak, which is thought to have started from a spark from a copper chimney.
