ARGENTINE MEAT FOR BRITAIN
(Bee. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 7. The Argentine was sending, and would continue to send, the whole of her exportable surplus of meat to the United Kingdom and other United Nations, said the Argentine Ambassador to London (Dr. Angel Carcano). He added that shipments from January onwards would be very considerable and would be equal to the highest of any month during the war.
