No announcement has yet been made of the personnel of the commission, which will consist of four Government representatives. three members of the New Zealand Wool Board appointed as woolgrowers' representatives, and an associate member nominated by the New Zealand Woolbrokers' Association. Nominations for the woolbrokers' representative, however, have been forwarded to the Government. Part of the commission's functions will be to assess on the basis laid down by the Joint Organisation the appropriate reserve prices for the individual lots of wool from stocks or current clips offered for sale at auction. For this work appraisers will be required, and •it is understsood that the export division of the Marketing Department, which Is empowered under the act to act on behalf of the commission, has' already approached wool buyers in New Zealand to find out it they would undertake appraisal duties.
