FARM HAND KILLED
! ' ♦ . (P.A.) AUCKLAND. December 12 A young man was fatally injured in an accident with a tractor' on a farm at Albany this morning. He was John Brian Hartland, single, aged 22, whose parents live at Te Kauwhata. # Hartland was driving a trsctpr towing discs through rough manuka on the property of Mr G. Hawkins. No. one witnessed the accident. When found the tractor was overturned and Hartland was pinned beneath the discs. It is thought that he endeavoured to jump clear of the tractor, when it commenced to capsize.
