COLLEGE WAR MEMORIAL
PROMISES OF £IO,OOO ALREADY
STATEMENT AT ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING
Nearly £IO,OOO, or about one-third ol the sum it is hoped to raise, has so far been promised in an appeal being made by the Christ's College Old Boys' Association for funds to erect as a war memorial a tower and administration block to the north of the college dining h«l on Rolleston avenue. Mr R. J. Richards, headmaster of the college, made this announcement last evening during his address a «S, e annual prizegiving ceremony.
