FREEZING COMPANY'S YEAR NORTH CANTERBURY SHEEP FARMERS The thirtieth annual report and balancesheet of the North Canterbury Sheepfarmers' Co-operative Freezing Export and Agency Company, Ltd., for the year ended September 30, states that after making provision for depreciation, income tax. social and national security charges, there is a credit on the year's operations of £4656 15s 3d. Added to the balance carried forward last year. £5863 8s 7d. a total of £10,520 3s lOd. The directors recommend that this be dealt with as follows:—payment of SM per cent, diviend on preference and ordinary shares, £3576 14s Id; to carry forward, £6943 9s 9d—£10,520 3s lOd. The directors retiring by rotation are Messrs -A. P. Bruce and Colin Mcintosh. These, being eligible, offer themselves for re-election, and in the absence of further nominations, are duly elected. The annual meeting of shareholders will be held at Christchurch on Thursday, November 15. MINING Rlmu Gold Dredging Co., Ltd.—For the clean-up period, October 16 to October 30. 3099 crude ounces of gold were secured from 74,539 cubic yards, in 231 hours 43 minutes.
