SPIES ARRESTED IN DENMARK

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) COPENHAGEN. Sept. 22. The Allied authorities, collaborating with the Danish police, have arrested 500 persons, mostly Danes,, but including some Germans, who are suspected of acting as enemy agents during the war. Spies were ordered to continue their work even in the event of a German defeat, in order to lay the foundations for a third world war.
