_♦ The death of a boy aged seven, Franklin James Nixon, was investigated at an inquest opened before the Coroner (Mr I Raymond Femer) yesterday. Arthur George Williams said that on August 10 he was driving a motor-car east along Ferry road. Near the Woolston Hotel, Nixon, who was standing on the footpath on the north side of the road, put his head down and ran out from the footpath.
