MEAT RATIONING

Sir, —The United States having abolished meat rationing, surely a reduction of the restrictions could be made here. When first issued the “H” meat coupon was priced at 9d. This allowed a family of three one joint a week. Now that it has been reduced to 4d, offals have to serve. This has caused a considerable loss in weight to two of my family. Rationing is not meant to starve but to prevent waste.— Yours, etc., W.W. September 18, 1945. ,
