The hearing of evidence by Royal Commission on Licensing « completed in Wellington to-day, »» the Commission adjourned until ucio her 15, when counsel will begin final addresses. The commission was originally ** report by September 1. the date was extended to December 3 < and it now appears probable that further extension may be Since it opened on March 6 the Commission has sat on nearly 100 day*, and has visited Auckland. Rotorua, * Kuiti. Christchurch, Invercargill, a Dunedin. The evidence amounts more than 45 volumes of typewritten foolscap pages, each volume about inch thick.
