MAN KILLED IN TRAP SET FOR PIGS
(P.A.) . MASTERTON, July 31. A soldier, Albert Wilde, was killed in an explosion yesterday. It appears that he went into the bush and set a booby trap for wild pigs. The trap was arranged with a hand grenade and was sprung by electric contact from . a torch battery. It is presumed that while Wilde was shifting the trap the grenade exploded.
