WORLD RECORD FOR RELAY RACE
(Rec. 8 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, July 30. The Malmo Athletic Club, with Gundar Haegg running the last leg, established a world record for the four times 1500 metres relay, in 938 3-5 seconds. Haegg’s time was 233 3-10 sec, and his team mate, Strand’s, time, was 230 l-ssec.
