P.O. BUSINESS AT SPRINGSTON

Sir,—l noticed in your paper 6ome time ago that the Springs Council was taking up the matter of a new post office at Lincoln; and no doubt one is badly needed. Something was said about a lot of Post Office business going to Christchurch because of lack of cbnvenience to deal with it at Lincoln. I was at one time accustomed to go there to do my business, but of late have not. as I find I can do practically all the Post Office business I require at the Springston Post Office; and I may add that I can do it without wasting much time. If anyone requires . proof I would suggest just going along and trying it out for himself.—Yours, etc.. . SPRINGS RESIDENT. Springston, July 27, 1945.
