COWS KILLED BY ELECTRIC SHOCK

* Two cows, valued at £2O each, were killed and five others received severe shocks when two power lines fell yesterday morning at the intersection of Cresswell and New Brighton roads. The cows were owned by Mr L. McEwan, a milk vendor, of 50 New Brighton road.
