Sir, —Do I understand that "Real Freedom” is on the road to serfdom? He is, but it is marked “Balanced Economy." • He does not tell the full story of unemployment. In 1930-1935 the unemployed rah to the following, in millions; the United States of America. 12; Canada, one; France, two: Australia, half; Latin America, 12—all caused by the beastly New Zealand Tory Government. Then came, the Socialists with a lovely war,- unrestricted spending, no nonsense, strike when you like, boys, we’ll go to the races, and the best-fed nation. Why just wait, when nobody owns anything, and everybody owns everything, when we have destroyed initiative and enterprise and we all look alike? What ho! for vodka and caviare for those of us who are right in the inner circle!—Yours, etc., JUST FREEDOM. July 4. 1945.
