CENSORSHIP OF MAILS CEASES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 26. Censorship of mails between New Zealand ana Australia had been declining for some time and was no longer in existence when the Canberra statement that Australian censorship had ended' was published. This statement was made to-day by an . officer of the Censorship Department. The censorship of mails between New Zealand and British and United States territories ceased this month, except for places within the Japanese war zones. Censorship of mails to Europe would be reduced progressively as the Governments become established.
