FURTHER PROTEST MADE at DUNEDIN
POSSIBLE SUSPENSION OF SUPPLIES

The committee which was set up to fishermen from Taien Mouth Kantane and Port Chalmers, and by Dun edin retailers, met this afternoon and was unanimously of the opinion that such anoitier could not be accepted inany circumstances. The following telegram has been sentt by the| committee to Mr Sullivan and the tribunal. “We reaffirm the contents of our pre vioUs telegram. It is impossible to operate under the p “ Ce Order. W are gravely concerned over the suspension of' supplies to the puhhe. tribunal is obstructing supplies pend ing a reasonable settlement. _ Mr A. J. Black, the chairman of the committee, said that nex lJj e ®^'j l l ro ® agreement had been reaehed. and pro vided the weather is suitable, some boats would operate for the express purpose of supplying pubbc hospital and similar institutions. These supplies would be made available fr of and would be distributed through the retailers.
