BRIGADIER L. M. INGLIS’S NEW APPOINTMENT
GOOD WISHES .FROM MINISTER OF DEFENCE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 19. Commenting on 'the appointment of Brigadier L. M. Inglis as president of one of the courts to\ be set up in Germany, the Minister, of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) said that Brigadier Inglis was a well-knovtn barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, having practised in the South Island from 1921 until the outbreak of the war. “With his wide military experience, gained in the war of 1914-18 and the present conflict, together with his legal qualifications. Brigadier'lnglis is well equipped for the very important post for which he has been' said the Minister. “I know all his military and legal friends will Joih with me in wishing him well in his hew appointment” • ’ . .
