MR H. HENDERSON

( p a ) AUCKLAND,' May 17. A well-known figure in amateur theatrical and sporting circles, Mr Hamish Henderson, a steward at the Auckland Hospital, collapsed and died at a meeting of uje Auckland branch of Christs College Old Boys’ Association last night. . The meeting was the first-held in Auckland since 1939 and the master of Christ’s College (Mr R. J. Richards) and the Dominion president of the association (Dr, L. C, L. Ayenll) had flown to Auckland to attend. Mr Henderson, who was aged about 88, retired from the staff of the Auckland Hospital Board in 1942 after 22 years’ service.
