A competition for premier bloom was won by Donald Boyd (Main) and Ann Sullivan (equal), with Joan Taylor (Main) second. Mr A. Le Comte was Judge. Personal Mr C Rhlrid, of Lyttelton, has received advice that his brother, Private L. Rhind, is safe in England after being a prisoner in Germany since the Battle of Crete.
