Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: An anti-cyclone covers the Tasman Sea and the North Island. A weak trough Is advancing across the South Tasman Sea. The forecast-is for moderate to fresh north-westerly winds inland, extending to the coast in the afternoon. Weather fair, temperatures becoming milder. WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is;— Light to moderate variable winds, westerlies predominating in the afternoon.
