ANNUAL MEETING HELD Supplying demonstrators from amongst its members -for meetings of women’s Organisations in the country, helping in the sale of health stamps and of national savings stamps, helping in street collections; in the packing of patriotic parcels, and ih providing-and serving meals at the Welcome Club are amongst the many useful, works carried out during the year by the Home Economics Association.. In addition, regular monthly meetings have been held, at which members have enjoyed lectures and demonstrations; the drama circle haa been very active and has given many entertainments for other organisations: the garden circle has done much Interesting work and the needlecraft circle has knitted and sewn for patriotic causes. Money raised at the monthly bring and buy sales has been given to the Patriotic Fund and donations have been made to the Fresh Air Home and Mayoress's Parcels Fund. The annual report detailing these activities vsps adopted at the annual meeting of the association, held at the Central Mission rooms yesterday. Officers were elected as follows; president, Mrs R. A. Ambridge; vicepresidents, Mrs L'. Rollings, Miss S. McKee, Miss C. E. Wardle, Miss L. Qilmour; life members’ advisory, Mesdames G. Garten, J. S. Kelly, Misses M. A. Blackmore, L. E. Bevin, and L. Gilmour; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mrs R. W. Borland; committee. Mesdames Barnard, E. Davies. A. Foster, C. H. Franklin, J Glasgow, Basil Jones. B. E. Menzles, Gardner Miller, E. O’Leary, J. Richards. J. R. Richards. P, Stevens, A. Tisch, Misses E. D. Kilner. and M. Stone.
