Barrytown worked 183 hours, treating 69,000 yards for a recovery, of 88oz of gold; Kanlerl worked 228 hours for a recovery of 408oz from 122,000 yards, and Arahura' worked 22S hours for a recovery of 3570z from 144,000 yards. Rimn Dredge.—The return for the cleanup period from April 3 to April 17. was 877.50Z from 76.258 yards in 256} hours. Prayers for Peace.—The Vatican radio has broadcast an encyclical from the Pope addressed to the episcopacy throughout the world asking for special prayers'for peace during May, "the month of the Blessed Virgin.”—London, April 18.
